La Société Musicale de l’Ile Maurice is pleased to present “An die Musik” on 19 June at Maison de l'Etoile, Eureka, and on 21 June at Château de Labourdonnais, Mapou.
Featuring South African performers, Lisa Engelbrecht (piano) and Luvuyo Mbundu (baritone), and special guest soprano, Véronique Zuël (21 June only), we thank our kind sponsors and partners, la Maison de l’Etoile, le Château de Labourdonnais, ENL, and CIEL.
The recital will feature a selection of well-loved art songs, opera arias and piano transcriptions. The programme includes music from Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann, Strauss, Mozart, Bellini, Gounod, Verdi, Liszt and Gershwin and others.
